Air Duct Cleaning:
How It's Done
C & C Air Duct Cleaning starts the procedure by using a powerful vacuum system with a vacuum hose attached to the main duct off the furnace. The ducts are then closed off with plastic sheets as a suction barrier created by the powerful vacuum system.
The dust, mold and other debris which the vacuum has taken out of your home falls into a trap while the air is released into a giant filter connected to our vacuum system outside.
Each supply vent and return is removed and cleaned with pressurized air duct cleaning tools. The air handling unit on the furnace is then cleaned and sanitized with oxine, a disinfectant/sanitizing agent used to kill mold, fungi, and bacteria
The process should be done every 3 years.
Indoor pollution is a serious threat to public health. Americans spend up to 90% of their time indoors; therefore, indoor allergens and irritants can trigger asthma attacks as well as other health issues.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), indoor air pollution is the 8th most important risk factor and is responsible for 2.7% of the global burden of disease from pneumonia, chronic respiratory disease and lung cancer to migraines and debilitating headaches.
